Changing Our Game: Female Participation: Workshop 1

VicHealth’s Advancing Gender Equality in Sport for Women and Girls: Female Participation in Sport Initiative has a specific focus on increasing participation levels of females who are less active through participation opportunities tailored to engage or re-engage them in sport.

The workshop will be relevant for eligible State Sporting Associations and National Sporting Organisations who wish to apply for participation funding under this program.

The workshop will:

• provide further detail on the critical information for VicHealth’s Advancing Gender Equality in Sport for Women and Girls: Female Participation in Sport Program
• step through the application materials and process
• provide further detail and insights into each of the four life stages of women and girls that VicHealth have identified
• work with sports to consider and apply the key insights on each of the four female segments in respect to participation opportunities
• support sports to refine ideas
• answer any questions sports might have regarding the program.
